The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regard to the significant quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out here to a substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area every day. The support level developed for intervention encounters a large influx of likely more info beneficiaries, which makes it tough for the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to enable the servicing of all buyers and improve access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
